I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

What do you want to do and for which students/grade? Explain.

The idea should be CLEARLY explained and should be innovative. Please define technical terms and new techniques throughout your proposal.

II. RATIONALE:

*Why do you want to do this project?

Your reason for wanting to do this project should be sound and clearly stated.

III. OBJECTIVES:

*What do you expect to happen? What is the time frame for your project? What kinds of changes do you expect the participants to demonstrate?

The objective should be realistic in terms of the methods to be used, staff, space, time and students involved. The objectives should include expected outcomes. The expected outcomes should be desirable products, which can be obtained from the proposed activities.

IV. APPROACH/METHOD:

How will the objective be attained? Which specific activities are planned?

What you plan must be related to the objectives.

V. EFFECTIVENESS:

How will you know if you have met your objectives? How will you measure student growth? How will you show the effect of your plan?

Expected outcomes should be clearly stated and demonstrated. Explain whether or not the resources are reusable or not. If they are, how? If they are not, why?

VI. BUDGET:

*The maximum grant is $500. How much will each item/activity cost? What is the total cost? Is the cost reasonable?

Itemize your budget and give the total cost. Please indicate if any other outside funds will be used to support this project.
